SPRING & SUMMER 2019
August 2019: We visited many places in August including the Tall Ship Festival in Brockville, ON, a beautiful sunflower field in Eastern ON, loons at Graham Lake, ON, the Horse Lovers Weekend at Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, ON, and many things in between.

I was able to visit the Glengarry Pioneer Museum recently for the Blacksmith Festival. What a fun thing to photograph. Here are some of my favourites.
We had the opportunity to visit Presqu’ile Provincial Park, near Brighton ON at the end of May. What a great park and an absolute treasure for birders! We saw so many birds I had never photographed before include the Brown Headed Cowbird, the Gray Catbird, Cedar Waxwings, the Kingfisher, Baltimore Orioles and an Indigo Bunting. I recommend this park to any birders. We also saw Mute Swans, Eastern Kingbirds, Yellow Warblers, and more. Also a great feature of Presqu’ile is the Lighthouse. Water levels were high when we visited the park and in some images you can see where the edge of the park is under water. While there, we stayed at Owl’s Nest Suites and I couldn’t help but photograph the beautiful flowers there including Bleeding Hearts and various colours of tulips. We had an amazing trip!
A quick drive to Morrisburg, ON today for some photos of Upper Canada Village and a drive through the Long Sault Parkway proved fruitful! Saw my first Scarlet Tanager! And had fun with the sheep and horses of UCV.
