WINTER 2020

March 2020- Stormont, Glengarry & Dundas, ON. Beavers (actually a family of 4) and a porcupine were the highlights of the end of Winter. Also included are some Mergansers and Mute Swans in the Thousand Islands National Park- St Lawrence River.

February 2020- Westport, ON. A partially exposed bee hive, a robin, a goldfinch and views of Westport from the cliffs of Foley Mountain Conservation Area.

February 2020- Voyageur Provincial Park and parts of SD&G, ON.

February 2020- A mixture of wildlife including coyotes, a muskrat, and a hooded merganser. We had some really thick ice fog which I was able to capture as well.

January 2020- Yamaska Park near Bromont, Quebec.

January 2020- Macro photography! I treated myself to a macro lens for my mirrorless camera over the holiday and finally got to try it out. I took photos of some of the finer details of a bouquet of lilies and then tried my hand at some snowflake photography. Still learning this type of photography but is sure is fun!

January 2020- St. Lawrence River. The water levels are so low on the river that you can walk out to various islands and see some small remnants of the Lost Villages from before the Seaway was flooded. We have never seen the water levels this low. Photos taken in Ingleside, ON.

January 2020- Warwick Forest. We love hiking in here as they have huge pine trees and dense forest. After a light snowfall, it’s just beautiful in there. Warwick Forest- Berwick, ON.

January 2020- These cows are just so cute to look at. We were quite a bit away but they definitely let us know that they saw us by mooing constantly. We didn’t stay but for a moment to capture a few quick snaps. Eastern ON, Canada.

December 2019- a few pics of the old train lit up in from of Crysler Marina- just past Upper Canada Village, Morrisburg ON.

December 2019- Bald Eagles. These were fun to watch and the crow did not seem intimidated one bit. They were in a distant field. Eastern ON, Canada.

December 2019- We start winter off with some photos of the Alight at Night festival at Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg ON. I enjoy going there every year as it’s a great way to view Christmas lights and they change up the displays every year. Enjoy ! :)
